Though overnight storms and early morning rain caused the cancellation of several acts, the skies eventually cleared for Austin to enjoy some quality rock, hip-hop and punk. Jane's Addiction celebrated the 25th anniversary of Ritual do lo Habitual by playing their seminal album in its entirety. They were accompanied by a variety of burlesque dancers and freakshow acts. Many fans had waited decades to see Ride from the UK and their patience was rewarded with a gloriously gorgeous performance. FUZZ brought the heavy metal and hair flips, with Ty Segall donning a creepy baby mask. Pink Eyes of Fucked Up continues to be one of the most charismatic front men in all of music. Shamir wowed with infectiously danceable tunes. Joey Bada$$ owned the stage as he performed songs from his incredible debut album, B4.DA.$$. Meanwhile, GZA pontificated and freestyled about the influence of science on hip-hop, a performance that was the highlight of Wu-Tang's presence at the fest, considering Method Man, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon weren't in attendance.
